Season tickets for Live Oak Theatre’s 2019-2020 season are now available. Season tickets offer reserved seating for each show. All performances are now held at the Carol & Frank Morsani Center for the Arts, 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34601. Live Oak Conservatory Announces Open House and Registration for Classes

Live Oak Theatre announces that registration for classes at the Live Oak Conservatory will be held on Saturday, July 13, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Carol and Frank Morsani Center for the Arts, 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34601. The public is invited to meet faculty members and will have the opportunity to purchase shoes, tights, and dancewear onsite. Classes begin the week of August 18. Proximity Festival Run Concludes, Root and Branch Films earns multiple awards for its first festival

After spending over six months being shown at various film festivals both in Florida and abroad, the first short from Root and Branch Films, Proximity, has officially concluded its festival run. The film was accepted into thirteen film festivals, received four nominations, and was awarded Best Medium Short Film at the Clean Shorts Film Festival in Oklahoma and the Audience Choice Award at the Silver Screen for Short Films Festival in Carrollwood, Florida. Live Oak Conservatory Expands Its Ballet Program, Kristin Bain is appointed to its faculty as ballet

Live Oak Conservatory announces that it is expanding the ballet segment of its curriculum and has appointed Kristin Bain as Ballet Instructor. Ms. Bain will be teaching the home school ballet junior and senior level classes as well as a beginning ballet class for teens. She also hopes to teach an adult beginner ballet class as well. She may extend her involvement to include jazz. Kristin studied Cecchetti Ballet at the Betty Fuller School of Performing Arts in Duluth, Minnesota and traveled extensively to neighboring Thunder Bay, Ontario, for certification in this Canadian method of ballet. Live Oak Theatre still has openings for its Beginner/Intermediate Level Annual Summer Theatre Camp. (Advanced Camp is almost full.) The camp features some of the tri-county area’s finest performers as faculty, including Randi Olsen, Jane Russell Geddings, Kevan Richards, Vince Vanni, and other veteran theatrical performers.
