Live Oak Theatre Company Still has Openings for Its Beginner/Intermediate Summer Theatre Camp
Live Oak Theatre still has openings for its Beginner/Intermediate Level Annual Summer Theatre Camp. (Advanced Camp is almost full.) The camp features some of the tri-county area’s finest performers as faculty, including Randi Olsen, Jane Russell Geddings, Kevan Richards, Vince Vanni, and other veteran theatrical performers. Camp is now held at the Carol & Frank Morsani Center for the Arts, 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34601.
Beginning June 17 through the 21st Live Oak Theatre will offer a Beginner/Intermediate Camp for those with limited Live Oak Theatre experience.
Camp is held each day from 10 am to 4 pm. Special arrangements are available for early drop off. Children are to bring lunch, healthy snacks and water.
Tuition is $150 suggested donation for each week. (No child is turned away for the inability to pay.) Camp is open to children from age 7 through 18. There is special exception for younger ages based on an interview/audition.
Children will learn various concepts of musical theatre including vocal technique, song interpretation, dance and movement to music, auditioning skills, stage makeup, acting skills such as characterization, improv techniques, stage movement, and much, much more.
