The Live Oak Theatre Company (LOT) a not-for-profit (501c3) company, exists to enrich families, individuals and the community as a whole by providing positive artistic experiences in the Performing Arts – including excellent, affordable, and edifying Family Friendly entertainment, performance, and educational opportunities for Theatre patrons and participants of all ages.

Mission Statement
The Live Oak Theatre Company (LOT), a non-profit organization, exists to enrich families, individuals and our community as a whole by providing positive artistic experiences in the Performing Arts – including excellent, affordable, and edifying Family Friendly entertainment, performance and educational opportunities for Theatre patrons and participants of all ages.
Purpose
To provide a positive and professional environment through which fine arts students are enabled to develop and sharpen their performance skills as they participate in large-scale Musical Theatre Productions alongside seasoned performers/mentors.
Goal
To be known as a Regional Theatre Company that exists to provide top-notch quality family-friendly entertainment and educational opportunities for our surrounding community, our culture and the world.
Live Oak Theatre Company Standards and Values:
To ensure a pleasant and positive experience for all who enter our theatre, Live Oak Theatre Company participants will work together in a spirit of unity to uphold our Company’s creed along with its standards of quality, excellence, professionalism and moral integrity both on and off the stage.
Moral Standards:
The Live Oak Theatre company acknowledges that many images are portrayed on stage in order to tell a story, however, honesty, sincerity, moral behavior and kind, loving and/or familial relationships will be respected, valued and promoted both on and off the stage by its participants.
Production Standards:
The Live Oak Theatre Company will make every effort to ensure that its production values meet or exceed the high-quality production standards of a Professional Theatre while seeking to operate within the bounds of good stewardship and common sense.
Behavioral Standards:
The Live Oak Theatre will provide a safe performance and educational environment that will foster equality, humility, teamwork, individual growth and mutual respect. The strengths and talents of each Live Oak Theatre participant will be recognized, utilized and appreciated. Gossip, slander, unnecessary criticism and “prima donna” behavior (both male and female) will not be tolerated.
