Seats Are Now Available for Live Oak Theatre’s Production of Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella!

The Cast of Cinderella Is Announced!

Seats are now available for Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.. Seats are $25 for adults, $10 for children 13 and under with the purchase of an adult seat. Cinderella will be performed from March 13 through 29.

As always, all performances are at the Carol and Frank Morsani Center for the Arts, 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34601. The Friday and Saturday evening shows are at 7:30 PM; Saturday and Sunday matinees are at 2:30 PM.

Due to the incredible talent that demonstrated interest in this production, most roles are shared by two cast members. Cinderella, the Prince, and the Fairy Godmother/Crazy Marie are actually TRIPLE cast.

ABOUT ROGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN’S CINDERELLA

Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella is a beloved musical fairytale by Richard Rodgers (music) and Oscar Hammerstein II (book/lyrics), famous for its enchanting score ("In My Own Little Corner," "Impossible") and timeless story of a servant girl finding her prince with magical help, originating as a 1957 live TV special starring Julie Andrews and later adapted for stage by Douglas Carter Beane.

This current and expanded version includes songs written by Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein that were left out of some of their other productions and never heard before by most audiences. For example:

• "Loneliness of Evening" and "Now Is the Time": Originally cut from South Pacific.

• "He Was Tall": Cut from The King and I.

• "There’s Music in You": Originally written for the film Main Street to Broadway. 

• "Me, Who Am I?": Cut from Me and Juliet.
