Live Oak Theatre Still has limited openings for its 10th Annual Summer Theatre Camp. The camp features some of the tri-county area’s finest performers as faculty, including Randi Olsen, Jane Russell Geddings, Kevan Richards, Vince Vanni, and other veteran theatrical performers. Camp is now held at the Carol & Frank Morsani Center for the Arts, 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34601. Live Oak Conservatory’s Maddie Bain is accepted by the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music 2019 high school musical workshop. The program is designed for talented, motivated and dedicated high school students (rising sophomores through seniors) who have a strong interest in and passion for musical theatre. Voice, dance and acting are taught by the College Conservatory of Music’s faculty and local professionals as well as faculty of the CCM Preparatory. Live Oak Theatre to Hold Orientation and How To Audition Class

Live Oak Theatre company announces that it will conduct an “Orientation to Live Oak Theatre and How to Audition for Us” program. The program consists of two, one and a half hour classes held from 6:30 to 8 pm on June 6 and June 11. The orientation program will be held at its new Morsani Center for the Arts, located at 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34601. Completion of this program is a requirement for non-LOT members - children, adults, and parents of children - who wish to audition for Live Oak Theatre’s repertory company. Open Auditions for 2019-2020 Season

Open auditions for the Live Oak Theatre repertory company and 2019-2020 season will be held on Thursday, June 13, from 6 pm until 8 pm at the Carol and Frank Morsani Center for the Performing Arts 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34601. Auditions for all season productions will be held at that time. Those who audition should prepare 16 bars from a song that shows their strengths and vocal range. A less than two-minute monologue is recommended, but is not required. Cold readings will only be used for call backs.
