Seats Are Now Available for Live Oak Youth Theatre’s Production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and JulietLIVE Oak Theatre announces the cast and their performance dates.

Live Oak Theatre is proud to announce that seats are now available for Shakespeare’s ROMEO AND JULIET. Seats are $25 for adults, $10 for children 13 and under with the purchase of an adult seat.  The play will be performed Thursday through Sunday, May 14,15, 16, and 17.

As always, all performances are at the Carol and Frank Morsani Center for the Arts, 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34601. The Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening shows are at 7:30 PM; Saturday, and Sunday matinees are at 2:30 PM.

ABOUT LIVE OAK CONSERVATORY’S ROMEO & JULIET

We are proud to announce that our students, age eight through 19, have enrolled in the Conservatory’s Youth Théâtre’s class’s production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.  The play’s title was the students’ choice. The classic play, which is in the public domain, has been slightly abridged by Mr. Ron Dykes MA to ensure its compliance with our family friendly mission.  It is still considered a full-length play, with all the characters.

Romeo and Juliet is William Shakespeare's famous tragedy about two young lovers from feuding families, the Montagues and Capulets, in Verona, Italy; their passionate, forbidden love leads to secret marriage, banishment, and ultimately, their tragic suicides, which finally end their families' ancient feud, making them the archetype for "star-crossed lovers".
