Season Tickets Are Now Available for our 2018-2019 Season

Season tickets for Live Oak Theatre’s 2018-2019 season are now available. A limited number of adult season tickets for all three productions are only $50. Season tickets for children 13 and under are $15 when purchased with an adult ticket. Season tickets offer reserve seating for each show. All performances are now held at the Live Oak Center for the Arts, 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34601. First Scholarship Fundraiser for the new Live Oak Conservatory

Live Oak Theatre announces that it will host its first scholarship fundraiser for the Live Oak Conservatory. The Harvest Moon Ball will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 6:30 to 10:00 pm at its new Live Oak Center for the Arts, 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida. Suggested dress is semi-formal. The Harvest Moon Ball will provide “ballroom” social dancing with music provided by Angelo Rifino, well-known DJ. A dessert buffet will be available. All net proceeds from the Harvest Moon Ball will go to Live Oak’s scholarship fund for its conservatory. An additional purpose is to enhance accessibility of ballroom dancing in the tri-county area. Live Oak Theatre Announces the Appointment of Jane Russell Geddings as Director of Dance

Live Oak Theatre is particularly pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Jane Russell Geddings as Director of Dance for its Live Oak Conservatory. Ms. Geddings comes to Live Oak from the Patel Conservatory where she served as an adjunct faculty member in both dance and theatre. She also served as the camp director for the Metropolitan Ministries program offered through the conservatory. Ms. Geddings is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, and has been teaching movement for over 30 years in all disciplines and styles for all ages, beginner through professional. Registration for classes at the Live Oak Conservatory will be held on Saturday, August 25 from 9 am to 1 pm at the Live Oak Center for the Arts, 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34601. Live Oak Theatre wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Carol and Frank Morsani of Brooksville for their unwavering encouragement and support during Live Oak Theatre’s initial capital campaign to acquire the Hernando County Utilities Department building which is now temporarily referred to as the Live Oak Center for the Arts. At their request Mr. & Mrs. Morsani were referred to as “our anonymous benefactors” during the initial capital campaign.
