Live Oak Theatre announces that it will host its first scholarship fundraiser for the Live Oak Conservatory. The Harvest Moon Ball will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 6:30 to 10:00 pm at its new Live Oak Center for the Arts, 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida. Suggested dress is semi-formal. The Harvest Moon Ball will provide “ballroom” social dancing with music provided by Angelo Rifino, well-known DJ. A dessert buffet will be available.
All net proceeds from the Harvest Moon Ball will go to Live Oak’s scholarship fund for its conservatory. An additional purpose is to enhance accessibility of ballroom dancing in the tri-county area. The Grand Ballroom at Live Oak Center for the Arts is said to be the only all wood ballroom floor in Hernando County. The ballroom will be set up with major accessibility for dancing throughout the room. Table seating will be provided at the perimeters so that even observers can enjoy the dancing.
Tickets are $15. A dessert buffet is available for a nominal fee.
Seating is limited. For more information and to reserve seating call the Live Oak box office at 352-593-0027 or email LiveOakBoxOffice@GMail.com.
