ABOUT ESPRIT JAYE TAFELSKI
Esprit Jaye Tafelski was born and raised in Brooksville, Florida; the youngest girl of eight siblings. Inspired by her father’s love for acting, Esprit began performing at the age of seven in various church productions, school projects, choirs, and whatever she could get her hands on.
In 2013, she joined Live Oak, playing the role of Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof. She also played the role of Aouda in Live Oak’s original production of Around the World in 80 Days.
Aside from musical theater, Esprit’s love for the arts truly lies in the quick-wittedness and humor of improv theater. For 7 years, she has acted in/hosted Improv Dessert Nights as fundraisers for local missionaries who are working in foreign countries.
She is excited to join with Live Oak to teach an improv theater class! This class will focus on coaching the students through ad lib, stage presence, character development, and audience engagement.
