Vince Vanni has participated in theatre for approximately 35 years. In New York, he was involved in creating, directing, and producing training programs and children's programs for a major publishing firm. Since settling in Florida he has performed in several critically acclaimed productions, including Fiddler on the Roof (at Stage West, The Show Palace, and Live Oak Theatre), Oliver!, Catch Me if You Can, and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. He is the recipient of the very first Stage West HAMI for best actor. In fact, he received four HAMI awards for acting within the first four years of the award’s existence. Live Oak audiences have seen him as Tevye in Fiddler, The Wizard in The Wizard of Oz, and President Roosevelt in Annie. Vince continues to own a public relations and marketing agency and teaches acting and public speaking.
Graduates of his public speaking course include Congresswoman Ginny Brown-Waite, Congressman Richard Nugent, Former State Representative and County Commissioner David Russell, several County Commissioners, and other major public officials.
He has produced over 150 TV commercial spots for a wide range of businesses. Vince serves as a consultant to many of the areas most respected businesses, medical practices, and government officials.
He is deeply involved in our local community. He has served on countless local boards of directors. Has been president of The Hernando County Education Foundation, The Chocachatti School Advisory Council, and the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce (two separate terms.)
Vince recently directed Fiddler on the Roof, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and The Music Man at Live Oak Theatre.
