Stephanie Barnett Sager is a Full Lyric Operatic Soprano, who earned a Masters Degree while on scholarship in Voice Performance from Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelors Degree in Voice Performance while on scholarship from Florida State University.
She has sung with Opera Tampa, St. Pete Opera, Lake George Opera Festival, Des Moines Metro Opera and New York Opera Project, along with being a featured soloist with orchestras and choral societies. Her operatic roles include: Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Mimì in La Bohème, Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, Echo in Ariadne auf Naxos, and Dido in Dido and Aeneas. Operatic critics have noted her “full sound and effortless high range” and called her acting a “full expression of hope, innocence and tragic foreboding”.
Mrs. Sager is the Music Director at Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Brooksville, FL and is on the faculty of Hillsborough Community College and College of Central Florida with a full studio of voice students. Her students have gone on to pursue degrees at Manhattan School of Music, Florida State University, University of Miami, University of South Florida and the Boston Conservatory. Mrs. Sager’s students have also been featured on American Idol and The X Factor. She has enjoyed working with Live Oak as an actor, singer and Masterclass presenter in the past and looks forward to joining the faculty of the Conservatory.
